This is a voluntary policy. We have chosen to publish it so our customers know how we handle their personal information, and it is guided by the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

Personal information we collect

Device Information

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone and some of the cookies installed on your device. As you browse the Site, we also collect information about the individual web pages or products you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and how you interact with the Site. We call this automatically collected information "Device Information".

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

  • Cookies are data files placed on your device or computer, and often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies, and how to disable them, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org.
  • Log files track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
  • Web beacons, tags and pixels are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site. The tags and pixels on our Site are:
    • Shopify's own analytics, which powers our online store.
    • Google tags (Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads conversion tracking), added through Shopify's Google & YouTube app.
    • The Meta (Facebook) pixel, added through Shopify's Facebook & Instagram app.
    • Mailchimp's site connection script, which links our Site to our Mailchimp email account.
  • Google reCAPTCHA is used on our forms to protect against spam. Google reCAPTCHA collects hardware and software information and sends it to Google.

When you make, or try to make, a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, delivery address, payment information (including details of major credit cards, Afterpay, Zip or humm), email address and phone number. We call this "Order Information".

  • If you subscribe to our emails, your email address and subscription details are held in Mailchimp.

We do not buy or obtain marketing lists from third parties.

When we talk about "Personal Information" in this Privacy Policy, we mean Device Information, Order Information and the enquiry and subscription details described above.

How we use your personal information

We use the Order Information we collect to fulfil orders placed through the Site. This includes processing your payment, arranging delivery by our own drivers, and sending you invoices and/or order confirmations. We also use this Order Information to:

  • communicate with you;
  • screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and
  • when in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information about our products or services.

We use Device Information to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address). We also use it more generally to improve and optimise our Site, for example by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site.

Measuring our advertising: We use the Google tags and the Meta pixel described above to measure how well our Google, Facebook and Instagram ads perform. This includes recording when visitors view products, search, add to cart or start checkout. We do not currently use this information to retarget visitors with ads.

Sharing your personal information

We share your Personal Information with third parties who help us use it as described above:

Your name, delivery address and phone number are given to our own delivery drivers so they can deliver your order.

Some of these service providers may store or process information outside Australia.

We may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
